Citizens speak various African languages. The major people live in fertile and active river and valley areas along the coastal line.

aputo the largest city of Mozambique was once one of the famous ports and is located in the seacoast of India Ocean. "40th Maputo International Expo" to be held during 30 Aug to 5 Sept 2004 is an important fair of Mozambique. The theme of 2004 Expo is "Commercers¡¯ Get-together". On the occasion, Mozambique will become the stage of China and world¡¯s commercers.
